  When was the last time you listened to your own heartbeat?

  Many people think, “I'm perfectly healthy,” until one day an arrow appears on their medical report — only then do they realize the heart had been sending signals all along. It's just that no one was there to catch them.

  On the morning of September 18, CNK Electronics, out of care for the physical and mental well-being of all its employees, organized a free ECG screening event. Electrocardiogram exams, cardiovascular health education, blood pressure measurement, centralized report review with follow-up calls for any abnormalities — every item delivered, no shortcuts taken.

We make displays. Every day, we work with pixels, colors, and refresh rates. But no matter how sharp a screen may be, it can never match the importance of a healthy, beating heart. A company that makes displays should care less about what's on the screen and more about the heart behind it.

  The event began with a cardiovascular health talk delivered by a health consultant invited by the Party-Masses Service Center. Arrhythmia, myocardial ischemia — these terms that sound so technical were explained in plain language: What are the early warning signs of cardiovascular disease? How do you take care of your heart in everyday life? The seats were filled with CNK colleagues — some taking notes, some quietly reflecting on their own recent symptoms. Those occasional chest tightness, those moments of palpitations — they shouldn't be brushed off as “nothing.”

  After the talk, the Vice Chairman delivered a few brief remarks. No long speech, just a clear message: CNK has always treated its employees as family, and family's health is not something to take lightly. Product specifications can be fine-tuned over time, he said, but an employee's health cannot wait. By bringing professional medical resources on-site, the goal was simple: every colleague should walk away knowing their heart a little better, with a little more peace of mind.

  With that, the screening officially began.

  At the ECG station, the moment the electrodes were placed on the chest, the machine started recording — that was the heart speaking. Colleagues who had finished chatted in small groups; some found the experience refreshing, others walked away relieved. After the exam, all reports would be reviewed by professionals. If any indicators needed attention, the individual would receive a follow-up phone call with details and a reminder for further examination. 

  A blood pressure measurement station was set up nearby — with each inflate and deflate of the cuff, another health data point was recorded.

We spend our days rushing through projects and deliveries. It's rare to pause, to truly listen to what our bodies are telling us.
