Respecting Elders at Double Ninth | CNK Visits Wuping for Elderly Care Outreach

Amid the crisp autumn air and the fragrance of osmanthus, the Double Ninth Festival—a traditional Chinese occasion for honoring and respecting the elderly—arrived once again. Carrying respect and care for seniors, CNK visited the Dongxing Village Party-Mass Service Center and Wuping Vocational Secondary School in Wuping, Fujian, to carry out the "Double Ninth Elderly Care · Love Fills Dongxing" public welfare outreach. The team delivered grain, oil and daily supplies to the village elders, visited the centenarian, and attended the Double Ninth Festival gathering for retired teachers at Wuping Vocational Secondary School, embodying through concrete action the fine Chinese tradition of respecting and caring for the elderly.

Caring for Dongxing, Warmth at Every Door

On the day of the event, representatives of CNK arrived at the Dongxing Village Party-Mass Service Center and, together with village officials, visited the elderly in their homes, presenting them with thoughtfully prepared grain, oil and daily supplies. Each delivery and each greeting conveyed the company's sincere care for the elderly in the community, bringing warm smiles to their faces.

Visiting the Centenarian, Honoring a Century of Life

During the visit, CNK representatives accompanied the team to see the village's centenarian and extended sincere holiday blessings. The government presented a birthday plaque to the centenarian, and the company representatives witnessed this honor together and took a group photo with the elder. The scene was filled with warmth and emotion.

Honoring Teachers, Connection Through Conversation

The outreach team also visited Wuping Vocational Secondary School to attend the school's 2026 Double Ninth Festival gathering for retired teachers. At the event, CNK representatives presented health kettles and other commemorative gifts to the retired teachers and extended holiday greetings, expressing gratitude for the dedication they had poured into education over the years. The atmosphere was warm and harmonious.
