The RGB interface primarily offers two efficient working modes:

DEN Mode (Data Enable Priority): Here, the ENABLE signal is key for controlling the data valid window. The phase of the PCLK clock signal (rising edge transmission/falling edge latching) must strictly synchronize with the LCD module; otherwise, screen corruption may occur. Parallel data transmission through red (R7~R0), green (G7~G0), and blue (B7~B0) 8-bit lines collaboratively delivers 16.77 million colors. HSYNC and VSYNC can be simplified in this mode.

SYNC Mode (Synchronization Signal Priority): This mode relies on precise HSYNC (horizontal sync) and VSYNC (vertical sync) signals to define the active display area. Their active states (typically high-effective) must align with the driving platform; otherwise, misalignment or even blank screens may result. PCLK phase synchronization remains critical, with R/G/B data transmission identical to DEN mode.

1.Data Line Sequence Confirmation: When a screen’s interface uses generic labels like DB0-DB24, it is essential to confirm the exact RGB signal arrangement within the bus with the LCD module supplier. Incorrect ordering causes severe color distortion.

2.Clear Functional Boundaries: A pure RGB interface is a high-speed "one-way display data channel" incapable of transmitting initialization commands or reading status. Thus, in custom LCD projects, it often collaborates with control interfaces like SPI, which handle screen initialization and management.
